The Process (for Custom Pieces)
Following perusal of the sample garments on display and a short consultation, each client’s measurements are taken to achieve a custom fit, swatches of certain fabrics (which have been pre-determined as appropriate for each garment) can be examined and colors available in those fabrics can be reviewed prior to ordering. Made-to order garments typically take 6-10 weeks to produce depending on varying factors and are primarily sold at a competitive price point.
In contrast, the price point and production time of custom pieces greatly depend on the varying factors of the garment in question.
Have a deadline or a budget you cannot exceed? Not to worry… Isolda will go over the options with you and make recommendations so you can make the best choices for your garment. If you have inspiration images or rough sketches for the piece, feel free to bring them to the consultation.
Please be aware that custom garments require some time to produce, particularly if there is a high volume in requests. Furthermore, Isolda reserves the right to refuse requests at any time for any reason. Due to limited availability, some fabrics may no longer be available. However, swatch images of suitable alternative fabrics available for your consideration will be presented to you for approval prior to production if this is the case.
Isolda wants all of her clients to feel special in her garments, so a production cap is assigned to limit the quantities of garments produced in each style before retiring the pattern.
Want to own a one-of-kind custom dress? For a premium, Isolda Couture will retire the pattern of your commissioned garment to ensure you are the only person who owns that garment. This is the only way to ensure that patterns aren’t recycled for duplicates to be produced and sold. (See terms and conditions for complete information.)
